Screen Shot Spam

I've been absent from the blog for a while.  I've been on and off WoW and figured instead of telling you all what I've been up to I'll just show you.  The main reason for my lack of posts has been that when I have played it's been pet battles.  Yes, the obsession has gotten to me again!  These things are addiciting!!  I finally got my Trainer title after 1000 pvp pet battles.  So. Many. Pet. Battles.  I'll probably have time to post more now that that obsession has been quenched.  :)

Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle Mog

After giving up hope on this uber awesome gun ever dropping I was in for a nice surprise last night. I did Kara with my bf for the new 5.3 battle pets and whaddaya know it dropped!  Yay!  My first instinct was to go with a darker look centered around some Ebonhold pieces but ended up going in a totally different direction.  Here is the link.

I've been eyeing the Wasteland Ringmail set and trying to come up with a nice mog for it.  I think it came out really pretty.  And Krueger, my new tiger, matches perfectly.  Of course I had to throw in some shots with a few other pets too, esp Dulcinea.

My first thoughts led me to this mog.  I really like it but it's very typical of what I'd do so first I wanted to branch out a bit and go with something different.  Since I have all these pieces I'm sure I will end up in this outfit eventually.

I looove this mog!  The credit here goes entirely to Draynee over at Pretty Fly For a Dranei.  I've been following that blog for a while.  She has the most creative outfits!  My Alt hunter is a Draenei and if they were only Horde I would seriously think about race changing Sesamee.  Draenei make everything look so much sexier but I still think it looks pretty hot on a red headed Blood Elf.  I need the gloves, the belt, and boots before this badass hunter mog becomes reality for me.  A million thanks to Draynee and I hope she doesn't mind me stealing this idea.  :)

Not the Wolfslayer Rifle but I thought the bow that drops off normal ICC25 Lady Deathwhisper looks good with the set.

I've settled on the grey Dragonhawk.  Truthfully I think my decision was made days ago but I held out as the black was the color I *should* have chosen.  I only tamed the grey because I was in Winterspring at the time and after days of server hoping and camping Sunwing, the black color, still eluded me.   I should have known.  Winterspring is my favorite zone and has given me Dulcinea and White Lady, two of my oldest and favorite pets.

Over the past week it was the grey that I kept by my side.  It was the grey that I gave the name Ujjayi to while the black kept the generic "Dragonhawk".  It was the grey that attached himself to me.

Ujjayi is the word for the breathing technique we use in Yoga.  It calms the mind, connects you to your body, builds heat, and invigorates you.  It is both calming and stimulating at once.  If you've never done yoga you probably won't understand what I'm talking about.  If you do then try an hour of yoga with "regular" breathing then an hour with ujjayi and you will see what I mean.  I am not religious, not even spiritual really, but I've been doing Yoga for years and I know that there is something that particular type of breath does to your body.

Something about the rhythmic flapping of Dragonhawk wings reminded me of ujjayi so I think it is the perfect name.  I think the subtler tones and softness of the grey color is maybe more fitting to the name than the dramatic black.  I don't know.  All I know is that the grey dragonhawk is my Ujjayi and he is awesome.  I finally have a blood elf hunter with a dragonhawk. About time, right?
